Community Employment Opportunities
Community Employment Opportunities The Community Based Employment Program called Community Employment Opportunities (CEO) is an exciting option for adults with disabilities. The primary difference between Facility Based Employment and CEO is the location that the work is completed. CEO places fully supervised BCI work crews in our customer's facility, working in an integrated environment with our customer's employees. Extending our services to CEO, we maintain low supervisor to employee ratios so our employees continue to receive the support that is appropriate for each individual. In addition to this, job security is ensured because our employees can choose to move back to our Facility Based Employment Program if the the off-site placement does not suit them. BCI's primary goal is to provide a choice of productive and fulfilling employment to adults with disabilities. The CEO Program has expanded our ability to fulfill this mission. As a multi-tiered organization, BCI also uses the CEO Program as a stepping block for individuals whose goals include competitive employment. Oversight of the employee is provided on an 'as needed' basis, allowing the employee access to the entire support system offered by BCI while still allowing them to be as independent as they choose to be. To explore your employment options at BCI contact our Career Center Manager, Stacy Lockwood at 636-978-4300, extension 203. |
